It is not the usual case that Ajith falters in his story selection, and he had done that yet again in Aegon. Dubbed as the remake of Mein Hoon Na, Aegon starts with rusty cop,his tough minded character with big expectation only to raise a sarcastic smile later. His open minded statement about his tummy in the film is highly appreciated but that is not going to be the solution if Ajith wants to act as a student, perform stunts or dance, HE SHOULD WORK OUT. Lets take a quick look at the pros and cons of the film
PLUS
1. The concept of giving equal priority to all the artist in the film (1 song without Ajith, Jeyaram for comedy etc) inspite of being a Big Actor Movie.
2. Bold Move taken by Ajith to try some comedy eventhough it kindles laughter in the other way.
3. A cute characterisation of the Villain Suman along with Sriman.
4. Ajith’s determination in improving his dance has paid to an extent.
5. Limited Punch Dialogues.
MINUS
1. Screen play
2. Under utilisation of Ajith’s Mass Appeal
3. Costumes
4. Ajith’s BIG TUMMY
5. Yuvan’s Background score hasnt worked
6. Unacceptable Climax
7. The flash back of Nasser and suhasini which is not at all required .
8. More care should be taken of sets and ambience too
9. Silly punches like A FOOL, B COOL
so Lets welcome Raju Sundaram !
The dance Master’s efforts in convincing Ajith with a Nursery Story is highly appreciated but we kindly advice Raju Sundaram to concentrate more on Script from his next venture if any. Raju Sir, Raju Sir,can you hear Prabhu Deva Laughing loud now ?
So lets wait for VILLU …..
