Kalanidhi Maran of Sun TV has announced that he is going to produce the film Enthiran, a mega movie with Rajni as hero and it is going to be directed by none other than the mega director Shankar.
This announcement has come at a time when Parliament elections are round the corner. It is a million doller question whether the superstar will make his entry into politics. His recent meeting with his fans at chennai last month has created waves and the classic confusion of Rajni is not yet over.
But all said and done one cannot ignore Rajni, the superstar, as a superpower in political scenario. Everybody saw his power when he opened his mouth in 1996 against the then ADMK government. His acts and deeds clearly indicates that his mind is for politics but something is preventing him from actually entering politics.
Enthiran, being a mega movie, will take at least 18 months to hit the screen. With lot of stakes involved, Rajni fans’ expectation of his political entry is likely to get delayed further. This is because any political move by Rajni (other than acts done in favour of DMK) will have terrible impact on his film. One can also expect that Rajni may be forced to open his mouth in favour of DMK due to his entanglement in a film produced by family members of the legendry DMK leader, Karunanidhi. An association with Rajni may also help Maran brothers to achieve their political aspirations (do they have ?) in the years to come.
This is an intelligent move to prevent Rajni from speaking for or aginst any party during elections.
In his own interest it is better for Rajni to keep away from politics and keeps his silence at least till the movie is completed and released.
