How many of us know that Indian Government is having an exclusive portal for redressel of grievance of public. Unfortunately the existance of this kind of portal has not been given wide publicity by government as they did for Right to Information ACt.
The portal pgportal.gov.in has been used by a few known persons and was found to be very effective and the response of the government was found tobe positive.
The portal has got lot of features and time bound redressel mechanism.
This, when used with Right to Information Act, can act as a double barrelled gun in the hands of those who wants to see a corruption free, public friendly honest INDIA.
Why not the public representatives like Councillors, MLAs, MPs, Social service organisations, Consumer protection organisations etc make use of this and render better public service?
On its part Indian Government should give wide publicity to this portal. Then only such portal will be a meaningful one.
All said and done Indian Government need to be appreciated for its noble initiative.
