Now a days, before everything ‘e’ is added. e filing, e ticketing, e booking etc. But this has been unfortunately misunderstood by many vehicle owners/drivers. Even when they go on a mission whether it is business or otherwise they simply add this ‘e’ to their mission resulting in emission. While driving behind a vehicle all of a sudden we become blind due to the sudden emission of dark smokes from the vehicle going before us. Invariably these dark smokes emanate from government buses and many private heavy vehicles. Autos and call taxis are no exception. We have emission norms and the transport authorities are there to see whether we are adhearing to the norms and there is a specific Board called Pollution Control Board. In spite of all these we, the public, are worst affected due to the scant respect given to the emission norms by these vehicles. This not only pollutes the air but there is a possibility of accidents due to sudden smoke and resulting blindness and eye irritation. Every public shall have power to inform traffic department over phone immediately on seeing these vehicles and the department shall also act instantly on the complaint by tracking the vehicle within a short time and take penal action against them. What we aspire is not only corruption free India but also emission free India. Will the authorities look into it?
