We sincerely pray for the peaceful rest of the departed souls. We salute the martyrs who sacrificed their life for the sake of India, Indian citizens and guests of India.
Wing16media salutes the brilliant act of valour by the Army, NSG and Mumbai Police. They rose to the occasion and did a wonderful job before public glare for more than 60 hours. They have sent a very strong message to the entire world that India is capable of not only withstanding such heinous acts of terror but also fully equipped to meet the challenge.
The role played by media need to be appreciated. A very good and elaborate coverage which helped the relatives of those who were held hostages inside the hotels and Nariman house to know the correct and latest position. Media has once again proved that they are second to none in the matter of national security.
Now there are reports that India was warned by USA and other countries on the impending danger to Mumbai. Normally government does not take it seriously as they are always busy with blame games and petty vote bank politics. It is the duty of media to bring these warnings to the knowledge of public and corporate sector so that they can play a very useful role in preventive vigilance. When the public have access to these warnings definitely they will pressurise the government through all possible manner and they themselves will be vigilant over strangers.
