At last the cat (cash) is out of the bag on the D day. The entire world has seen the effect of allowing persons with criminal records inside the parliament. What a shameful day for Indian democracy. It has been once again proved that cash is the most powerful thing which can pass all security checks as it entered the Well of the Parliament House in bundles in spite of strict security measures in Parliament for the vote of confidence. This is what happens if the power of opening a police station is given to thieves.
Can we expect anything good for public from these gentle(?)men?. Who is to be blamed for this?. Vote bank politics does not allow the culprits to be punished. Person who ventured to kill the MPs (whether they deserve this, is a debatable issue) by bombing the parliament has not been punished yet and his death sentence is still to be executed. MPs who are in jail have been allowed to enter parliament house to take part in voting under the guise of democratic duty. Persons with known criminal track record ( even accused murderers) were allowed by our political parties to contest in their ticket and they became MPs. When Phoolandevi can become an MP what else is left out for damaging the morale of an honest Indian Citizen.
Today MPs have brought huge cash to the Parliament. Days are not far off when they bring AK47 and Bombs inside the House and get the things done by direct threat. It is a pity that inspite of this shameful happening the speaker has ordered that voting shall take place at 7.15 pm today. Shame India Shame.
Confidence can be installed in the minds of the public only when both the receiver of the money and the giver are expelled from the parliament with heavy penalties and they shall not be allowed to contest in any elections for the rest of their life. They shall be treated as traitors. All privileges as an MP including pension etc shall be withdrawn and they shall be sent to prison for a minimum period of ten years and this shall be non bailable.
