Each time, Simbu proves that he is good at marketing his films through his stills, music etc but fails to concentrate on story line and Silambattam is no exception.
First Half
Can the Silambattam crew justify what they did in the first 90 minutes of the film ? can they justify atleast 1 shot ? unwanted irrelevant comedy,usual Simbu’s boasting dialogues, double meaning dialogues inside temple ? senseless timing of songs…and it goes on…seriously, if you ever plan to see this film kindly take 1 Action 500 and a flask of coffee to keep you motivated .
Who is the heroine and what she is for ?
If Santhanam is going to act in next simbu films with same sort of comedy track, he is sure to lose his rapport.
The only encouraging aspect of the first half is Yuvan Songs and Simbu gives us a small compensation through his dance.
Second Half - hmm ……
Yes, the story line adds pace, and grasps attention only till simbu starts his comedy through his gimmicks.We still dont understand that why Simbu is trying to win the mass appeal each and everytime in his movie when he himself is aware that the present day audience are very clear in their judgement ?
Highlight Comedy
The highlight comedy in this film is the idea of Simbu to add Billa’s theme music….the comments heard from the audience for adding Billa’s Theme music is sensored here (:
And Sneha crafts a neat role and karunaas expressive acting is perfect. When Compared to Simbu,even the OX named Kathir had acted well.
We also strictly condemn the sensor board for allowing few scenes ( a small boy murdering the entire family)in the film. Kindly note that these scenes will poison many young minds. So please be awake.
Yuvan scores in BGM , but he could have rendered this stuff to some other thought provoking or meaningful films instead of trying to make Simbu a celebrity which is far away from reach.
And above all, In each interviewm Simbu bluffs about his originality, style, uniqueness, but can he answer why did he pull of Ajith into the scene ? Calling himself as Chinna Thala is rubbish and this effort is a perfect black mark in his career.
Request to Simbu,
Dear Simbu, even we are your fans but we cant keep on seeing your irrelevent mass appearance or hear you nasty punch dialogues, we love your dance and personality,so try maintaining it. We need films like Kovil,Manmathan ….please……understand that…and finally once again as a well wisher we advice you, MASS CANT BE CREATED BY YOUR GIMMICKS, IT IS A SPONTANEOUS FEELING which your acting should create…understand that and try something very differently ….
finally when we came out of the theatre we can hear some whispering voice which said
” Innoru murai SIMBU ippadi nadicha ……PIRICHU MENJURUVOM”

About Double Meaning Dialouge. Where are you from S.J.Surya to Vijay. All used double meaning. This is the new way of sorting songs. New good things will face a bad sound. But finally it will success. Surely Next Rajini - SIMBU.

This film is about Simbu and is nowhere connected to S.J.Suryah and Vijay, when issue pops up in their film,we will write about it tooo. We are unbiased.

What is with PIRICHU MENJUDUVEN ?
In one scene he says PIRICHU MENJUDUVEN to villan.
In another scene he says PIRICHU MENJUDUVEN to heroine, and kisses.
so when he says PIRICHU MENJUDUVEN to villan, is he gonna kiss them? yuk. This is so gay!
