It is a dream come true for every Indian. The long wait is over. Every Indian is proud on this historic achievement by A.R.Rahman by winning two Oscars, one for Best Original Score and Best Original Song in the film Slumdog Millionaire. This is the first time an Indian has secured two Oscars.
We had wished A.R.Rahman to get Oscar award in our earlier articles ” Underdog captures Slumdog” on 16.1.2009 when Rahman won Golden Globe award. Again when Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for Oscar we had expressed our confidence that Rahman will secure Oscar awards in our article “Slumdog become Great Dane” publised on 24.1.2009.
Now A.R.Rahman has reached pinnacle of glory by making every Indian proud. While reacting to his achievement A.R.Rahman has also revealed his secret of success by his following confession. ” All my life, I’ve had a choice of hate and love. I chose love, and I’m here.” This message from the God of music should be taken as uttered by the ALMIGHTY himself propagating the fact that love alone wins and nothing can be achieved by hatred. By saying this Rahman has proved that he is not only a world class musician but a great human being.
We wish A.R.Rahman many more milestones in his life and pray the SUPREME to bless Rahman with long, successful fruitful life.
We earnestly appeal to the President of India to honour A.R.Rahman with BHARAT RATNA not only for this stupendous achievement but also for giving us the GEM “Vandemataram”
