Every cloud has a silver lining. Yesterday a gloomy picture about our country’s values were expressed under the title ” Blast the blasters” and the article ended by invoking Lord Krishna to re appear to save the country. And it was also mentioned that HE can come only in the form of human being.
Probably there is a sign of our prayer being heard by HIM. It seems HE has appeared, in the form of Shri B.N.Aggrawal and Shri G.S.Singhvi, Hon’ble judges of the Supreme Court, to give an inital warning signal.
“We are fed up with this government. They don’t have the guts to differ with the opinion of the clerks. Even God will not be able to save this country. In India even if God comes down, he cannot change our country. Our country’s character has gone. We are helpless,”
These words came from none other than the Highest Court of this Country, the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
The bench consisting of Justices Shri B.N.Aggrawal and Shri G.S.Singhvi expressed this while slamming the government for not amending law to launch criminal prosecution against those who illegally occupy official houses. The Hon’ble Supreme Court’s observation cannot be brushed aside simply. This is a very serious observation of highest magnitude. At least now let our administration wake up from slumber.
In another case the Hon’ble Supreme Court has orally told the Tamil Nadu Government’s counsel ” your Chief minister and the Union Minister have no time to file replies to the show cause. You are above the law. What type of people are you?. If this is their attitude we will issue warrant of arrest and let them come and appear in the Court”. This has appeared in The Hindu.
The above two observations of the Supreme Court is a clear indication of the present state of affairs in our country.
A stitch in time saves nine. Let us hope our leaders take this signal from the highest court of this land seriously and start their stitches before our country is torn in to pieces.
Sincere appreciation to the judges for rekindling our hope that there is a power which keeps an eye on the administration and which is bold enough to express freely its observations without fear. Hats off to them. Jai Hind.
