Oh, what not ? and who is he ? and thank God that he has stuck to atleast not changing his name Kamal Haasan :). Wing16media team took some time to see this movie just to enjoy the thrill that we get by the comments posted by the public but couldnt resist the temptation much long so watched the movie atlast ! and here are our comments

Gist :
 
A theory which explains that everything that happens in the world are predefined and everything in this material world is related in one way or the other and the film explains this concept in an intersting commercial way. It also speaks about a theory called Chaos Theory, so what is that ?

In mathematics, chaos theory describes the behavior of certain dynamical systems – that is, systems whose state evolves with time – that may exhibit dynamics that are highly sensitive to initial conditions (popularly referred to as the butterfly effect). As a result of this sensitivity, which manifests itself as an exponential growth of perturbations in the initial conditions, the behavior of chaotic systems appears to be random. This happens even though these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future dynamics are fully defined by their initial conditions, with no random elements involved. This behavior is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos.

Chaotic behaviour is also observed in natural systems, such as the weather. This may be explained by a chaos-theoretical analysis of a mathematical model of such a system, embodying the laws of physics that are relevant for the natural system.

The first 15 minutes was mind boggling with Kamal showing sheer determination and grit and next the movie takes off to a flier to USA and there you can witness lot of science being told very silently ! Each 15 minutes a new character was introduced leaving audience glued to their seats. The point to be noticed is that throughout the film the chaos theory is neatly portrayed without losing its fragrance and few minutes before interval a new question arises in our mind that how could all the 10 characters be related in the climax that get the suspense going, but Kamal presented perfectly in balance. Asin could have performed better in certain sequences and credit also goes to the background score. Mallika ? oh, just recollected that she too is in the cast :(.

The Difference:

Rumours were there that crores of money were spent on this film but does it look so ? yes, it is …but the point is, In a shankar film, he takes efforts in allocating few shots to highlight the money being spent whereever it is and also the sets, but much better was Kamal’s effort to show that in a different way and a special applause for his matured thinking.

Characters

10 different characters and which is the best ? According to our team the first 3 ranks goes like this

1. Christian Fletcher ( Very stylish and intelligent enemy neatly potrayed)
2. Vincent Poovaragan (  walking style was fantastic and ofcourse the makeup)
3. Balram Naidu ( What a dialogue delivery and mannerism !)

Ofcourse other 7 cant be left alone, (Not Ranked below)

4. Kaifullah Khan ( meaning of innocence)
5.Shinghen Narahasi, Kungfu master( not need in the story at all )
6.Krishnaveni Paati, Old lady ( failed to create a real impact)
7.Avatar singh  ( perfectly handled)
8.Rangarajan nambi ( made tears flow)
9. Goving Ramaswamy ( usual)
10. George Bush ( Bravo ! )

Tsunami !

So how can we end without commenting on the climax Tsunami pinched with the demise of Vincent which created a mixed feeling in the audience. Tsunami effect was a great worthy attempt which  atleast kept the audience to have a feel that our tamil film industry is improving, hats off !

 

Existence of GOD !

But Kamal answering his critics that he doesnt believe in GOD gives a sudden twist in this film by giving a mixed review about his beleif but ends the film by sticking to his wits that he doesnt say the God doesnt exist, but he will be more happy if God exist …so the arguement continues … 

Songs

Our Heart and soul goes to ” kallai mattum kandal …..” eventhough oh oh sanam was a hit.

So on the whole it was worth spending 3 + hours and we wish Ulaga Nayagan great success on all his future projects ….
