His music for the movie Slumdog Millilonaire has won him Golden Globe Award for best musical original score. This is considered to be the last but one step for Oscar.
It all started with “Chinna Chinna Asai” in the film ‘Roja’ for A.R.Rahman which was an instant hit. A new hero descended on the music world of cinema. From then onwards there is no looking back for Rahman.
His “Vandhemadharam” was a masterpiece which sent signals all over the world that his music can enthrall billions of people.
Chennai to Mumbai to Hollywood, the journey continues to conquer the peak.
S16 wishes A.R.Rahman on winning this prestigeous award and hopes that the days are not far off for him to grab the coveted OSCAR.
